Experience

Frank Dirks joined Millennium Private Wealth with twelve years of financial services industry experience. Before entering the industry, Frank enjoyed a twenty-year career working in education, government and the nonprofit sectors. He has led efforts to organize and launch state and national advocacy organizations. He served as executive director of the Michigan governor’s community service commission, which supports the work of state and local nonprofit organizations.

Education

Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Frank earned a BA from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland.

Other Interests

In 1997 Frank moved to Charleston to marry his wife, a faculty member and administrator at the College of Charleston. Together they have two children attending Buist Academy and the Academic Magnet High School. An active community volunteer, he has served on the boards of the South Carolina Commission for National and Community Service, the South Carolina Association for Nonprofit Organizations, the Sustainability Institute and the Charleston County Board of Zoning Appeals. He recently completed his term as chair of the Buist Academy Foundation board. A Sunday school teacher for ten years, he currently chairs the parish finance council for the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist and leads advisory groups in support of Catholic Radio in the Lowcountry and the Daughters of Saint Paul in Charleston.
