Experience

Steve Meyer and his partners established Millennium Private Wealth in 2016. He uses his 34 years of industry experience to provide sophisticated portfolio management and retirement planning. Steve loves all sports, particularly football, which led him to a 30 plus year “volunteer career” coaching football for the Mt. Pleasant Recreation Department, Porter-Gaud School and Bishop England High School. He served as offensive coordinator for Porter-Gaud and Bishop England for 17 of those years, winning 6 State Championships during that time.

Steve is quick to draw a parallel in using and executing successful strategies in his clients’ investments with a team’s offense. For both, he determines a successful endpoint and establishes the strategy to pursue it. Steve has devoted clients who have been with him throughout his career with Interstate Johnson Lane, Dean Witter, Morgan Stanley, UBS and now Millennium Private Wealth.

Education

Steve graduated with a degree in Business Management from East Tennessee State University, where he was a four-year letterman on the football team.

Other Interests

Steve has served his community in many ways and has sat on the Board of Directors for the Lowcountry Chapter of the American Red Cross, which he continues to support. Most importantly, Steve is proud of his family. His wife, artist Laurie Meyer, opened her own business, Meyer Vogl Gallery, on the same day Steve opened Millennium Private Wealth. His youngest daughter, Catherine, also began her career in the financial world as an associate with MPW. Daughter Grace shares Steve’s love of sports and works in the marketing field. Daughter Katie Geer, Director of the Meyer Vogl Gallery, and her husband Lyles Geer have blessed the family with two granddaughters, Mae & Elliott, and the May 2022 arrival of a grandson.

As a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan, Steve also shares his devotion with his favorite team.
